Axe throwing tournament

Defending against cyber attacks requires precision, strength, and the right tools—just like axe throwing. After a day filled with insightful presentations on cybersecurity, we invite you to join us for an exhilarating axe-throwing tournament. This fun and competitive activity will allow you to channel your focus and determination, mirroring the strategic approach needed in cyber defence.

As in cybersecurity, success in axe-throwing requires a keen eye, a steady hand, and a strategic mindset. This exciting activity will be the perfect way to unwind and network with like-minded people, all while reinforcing the day's lessons on staying sharp and ready in the face of ever-evolving cyber threats. Join us for a unique blend of learning and fun as we aim to hit the mark in both cyber defence and axe throwing.

Frequently asked questions about Axe Throwing

Because Axe Throwing is fairly new in the Netherlands, there are often still quite a few questions about it. That is why we answer the frequently asked questions below.

Is Axe Throwing safe?

Axe Throwing does not initially sound like the safest activity. Yet that is not entirely correct. The Axeperts will ensure safety at all times and the rules are observed. In addition, you will receive clear safety instructions beforehand and, of course, instructions on how to throw an axe. If you stick to these, nothing unsafe can happen. Read our safety rules here so there are no surprises.

Can you drink alcohol while throwing?

No alcohol before or during pitching! To save others a single ticket to the hospital, you must stay completely sober before and during Axe Throwing. So no alcohol or other substances. After the Axe Throwing, you can enjoy delicious snacks and alcoholic drinks. Then, of course, you can toast to celebrate your great score!

Visit the Axe Throwing website for more information.
