Our new standardised MDR service combines Cortex XDR, a Dutch SOC, and transparent tier-based pricing — so organisations of every size can take managed security seriously.

Nomios today announces the launch of Nomios Guardian xMDR: a fully managed detection and response service, built on Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR and delivered from our Security Operations Centre in the Netherlands. Guardian xMDR is available immediately across the Benelux and wider European market.

The service has been designed to address a challenge that many organisations will recognise: security tools are in place, but the operational capacity to act on them around the clock is not. Nomios Guardian xMDR closes that gap — combining continuous monitoring, analyst-validated alerting, automated response orchestration, and threat hunting into a single service with predictable, transparent pricing.

Four tiers, one consistent standard

Guardian xMDR is available in four service tiers — Essential, Core, Advanced, and Elite — each building on the capabilities of the last. From immediate operational coverage for endpoints to a fully strategic engagement with a named threat analyst and CISO-level alignment: organisations choose the tier that fits their current maturity and ambition, and can scale as their needs evolve.

All tiers are priced transparently, with no hidden usage costs. Scoping starts with the number of endpoints and expands based on coverage needs.

Built on leading technology

Cortex XDR serves as the detection and response engine across all tiers. For organisations with log sources outside Cortex XDR's native library — including niche network equipment, OT systems, or custom applications — a Sovereign Managed SIEM is available as an extension: EU-hosted, fully managed by Nomios, and designed to eliminate blind spots across even the most complex environments.

Our SOC in Zoeterwoude operates around the clock. All customer data is hosted within the EU, and the service is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified, meeting compliance requirements under NIS2 and DORA.

Two MDR approaches: standardised and custom

Guardian xMDR is our standardised offering — the right choice for most organisations seeking enterprise-grade protection without the lead time of a bespoke engagement. For larger organisations with existing tooling, platform-specific requirements, or complex environments, Nomios also offers Custom MDR: a fully tailored service built around the client's own stack, supporting platforms including Palo Alto XSIAM, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, and QRadar.

The right moment to make the switch

If your endpoint security licence is up for renewal this year, now is the ideal time to consider making the move to Nomios Guardian xMDR. We see in the market that organisations switching to Cortex XDR frequently achieve significant savings on their existing licence costs — in many cases substantial enough to fund a large part of the accompanying SOC service. Managed detection and response need not be an additional line item: for many organisations, it is simply a smarter way to spend budget they are already committing.
