Travelling to the office
Our office is easily accessible with both public transport and by car.
The address is Stadhouderslaan 900, 2382 BL Zoeterwoude.
There is an underground parking lot attached to the office building. It is usually open for access. If not, use your Nomios-pass to get inside.
For those of you using public transport, the recommended route is the following:
- Travel to Leiden Centraal
- Get on bus 187 to "Laan de Goede Herder" or bus 169 to "Meerburg". From the Laan de Goede herder, it is about a 10 minute walk to the office. The stop of Meerburg is shown on the video and is almost directly opposite the office.
- Enter using the rotating door.

Your first workday at Nomios
Your first workday is designed to help you settle in, get the essentials you need, and start building connections with your new team. Here’s what you can expect:
On arrival, you’ll meet with our Internal IT team to collect your laptop, phone, and any other equipment you need. They’ll make sure everything is set up and ready for you to start working smoothly.
You’ll have a session with our HR team, where we’ll walk you through practical information such as company policies, tools, and facilities. This is also a great moment to ask any questions you may have about working at Nomios.
To make your start as smooth as possible, you’ll be paired with a buddy who will guide you through the informal aspects of our workplace. Your manager will also take time with you to align your role, expectations, and first steps. Your first day is all about getting comfortable, meeting people, and setting you up for success. The name of your buddy and manager are mentioned on your boarding pass. We’re looking forward to seeing you and starting this journey together!
Our hybrid way of working
At Nomios, we offer a professional, inclusive, and flexible workplace. Our offices are designed for both collaboration and focused work, with vibrant social spaces and quiet zones to suit every style.
We follow a hybrid model: most teams are in the office three days a week and work remotely for the rest. Desks are flex workstations, so you can pick the spot that best fits your day, whether it’s teaming up with colleagues or focusing in a quiet zone.
There are plenty of healthy snacks and fresh fruit always available to give you a little boost while you work. Sustainability is part of our culture too—we recycle, reduce waste, and save energy together.
Wherever you work at the office or from home, you’ll have the right tools and support for a productive and enjoyable experience.
Order lunch with the Join Program app
The lunch at the office is provided by Join Program. You can download their app – Link to app if possible here – to check out their rotating lunch menu!
They offer sandwiches, salads, hot meals and more!
The pricing you see in the app includes the lunch allowance of € 3,90 stated in your job offer.
The cafeteria is easily accessed on the main floor, between 12:00 and 13:30 you can pick up your ordered items there.
How it works:
- Download the Join Program app before your first day.
- Join Program serves lunch from Monday to Thursday.
- There is a different menu every day, with the option to see one week in advance what they offer.
- You can choose vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary-friendly options.
- Pay digitally for the chosen items using Apple Pay or iDeal.
Lunch is a great moment to meet colleagues from other departments, so feel free to sit anywhere and to strike up a conversation!

The Nomios Warehouse
Besides our office building, we also have the Nomios Warehouse in Nieuw-Vennep!
The address is Drachmeweg 145, units G, J, and K.
Our engineers work from and in the Warehouse every now and then and all of the hardware for the clients is stored in this location. Feel free to visit it if you want!

For this purpose, we have created the Learning Calendar. Each year, we plan multiple training sessions where the trainers are your future colleagues.

Internal events
We organize at least one team-building or social event every quarter, ranging from casual gatherings to structured activities such as offsite retreats, collaborative workshops, and interactive games.
Highlights from past events include our festive Christmas dinner party, the sunny Nomios beach event, and our annual physical challenges like the Go Challenge (Personify) and preparing together for the Rotterdam Marathon.
Each occasion is thoughtfully curated to strengthen connections, promote cross-team collaboration, and reinforce our shared sense of purpose and camaraderie.
All events are announced in advance by the Internal Events Team via email or SharePoint, so you’ll always know what’s coming up and can join in the fun.
